Here is the promised blog about our kids. We had a real scorcher this week. It was nearly 80 degrees! Leslie was watering the mailbox flowers and all the kids just begged her to get them wet. So...

Things were all fun and games until the dirt bikes showed up. As you can see from Christopher's expression, they were loud.

Never satisfied with just a little fun, or a little water, the kids begged for more. Leslie came up with the idea of our own little water slide. She used the hose to wet the slide while the kids zoomed down. It was really fast!

I love the waterslide idea, Leslie. Christal rented a 25' blow-up waterslide for Memorial Day for all their friends and (Uncle Jim's daughter) Carly & me. I went down it in the evening after most of their friends (and children) left. I figured out that if you take the length of the slide times my weight and age, that was the speed at which I slid into the water and wall at the bottom. Ibuprofen, where art thou?
Love,
Aunt Margie
