The kids had a great time outdoors this week. Daddy fed a fledgling bird worms with a long-nose plier.
Someone found a toad.
Mommy let everyone play in the rain.
The weekend had its good and bad moments. Bad -- the water heater broke and spilled gallons of water all over the basement. Worse - Doug was at work. Worst -- Kids were coming over to be babysat in half-an-hour. Fortunately, Gordon Groff was there to save the day. He stopped the leak and helped Doug replace the bad tank with a new one in less than six hours. And it works, too!
Good - we all dressed in our China outfits for Christopher's baby dedication at church and took Mommy out to Hong Kong Garden for Mother's Day lunch.

Hey Doug,
Seeing you feeding the bird using long nose plyers reminded me of the time I had to remove the fish bone from your throat while camping.
Glad to see it was food going in.
I love the family picture. Can I get a copy for my refrigerator collage? The latest one I have is before Shannon was born.
Love,
Aunt Margie
