"Aaron, where did you put the rest of these Memory cards?"
"Hmmm....I don't remember."

Today Shannon and I were discussing the show America's Funniest Home Videos.  Shannon kept saying "America's Home Videos."  When I corrected her, she replied, 'Well, some people leave out the word "Funniest." I am one of those people.'

Well, we moved for 2-1/2 weeks and hostede in-laws and parents for 3 weeks. That was fun. But we are pretty much ready to settle down for a few weeks or normal average life.

Here are a few photos of us at our best:

1. Leslie cooking and Christopher being cute.

2. Shannon being beautiful in her new dance clothes. She is starting dance lessons with her best friend Emma on Thursday.

3. Aaron doing puzzles.

4. Daddy employing his new impact driver, Kreg pocket joinery tool and square head screws to build drawers for the computer center. (Photography by Shannon.)

Leslie's parents, the Hansons, came to Lititz for several days. We all had a great time playing Uno, Yahtzee and Go Fish and going out to eat and shop.

Here is Grandmom and her granddaughter coloring together.

We went to Strasburg to ride the oldest short-line railroad in the country.

One day, they really ventured out on a trip to the Lititz Public Library. Actually, it is just across the street.

Aaron and Shannon finally had two friends from their old neighborhood over for a sleepover. It was a lot of fun.

We all felt quite safe from the wild animals with Zorro and Kid Jedi there to defend us.

Here is Leslie in a new outfit that a friend from California sent us. (Thank you, Anne!) Isn't she gorgeous?

Aaron is going insane with math. He wrote out his alphabet twice for "practice" and then tried to see how high he could count on paper. He got to 216.

Looks like Christopher will exhibit a good mix of his parents' interests. He displays his Mommy's green thumb as he prunes the bushes. But, not to leave out Daddy, he uses BBQ tongs to do it.

Here is a great picture of Shannon with her entourage close behind her. Actually, this was supposed to be Grandpa with his 3 grandkids but she kind of stole the shot. I am sure that won't be the last time. The recliner is a rental. We got it for Grandpa, but Doug was glad to hear that the rental is for a month, so he'll get to use it too. Sadly, Leslie won't allow a recliner long-term.

We managed to capture a few photos of the locals while we were here. There is a nice Amish family and their barnyard animals.

Grandma still has the stomach for all the rides.

Shannon made sand art for Grandma.

We're sure this will be the winner of this year's scarecrow contest!

Grandma and Grandpa Glover came to visit. We did a lot, but we only took a few pictures. Here are some fun ones from Dutch Wonderland. This will be a several-part blog.

Christopher loves trucks, trains and tractors.

Shannon never gets tired of pink or of Princesses.
