Aaron scores a goal in his second game. (No, I'm not gonna blog every goal he scores. I think.)

Chris just visited his Gandpa Glover in Texas. He spent all week playing with Grandpa's crutch. When a young friend visited our house today for a birthday party, Chris's eyes lit up when he saw a crutch just like Grandpa's but Christopher-sized!

He Scores!

Warning: Those averse to excessive parental braggadocio should scroll down to another blog entry.

Aaron is our first child to join an organized sport. He had two soccer practices before his first game today. He is one of the only six year-olds (most are seven) and one of the only ones who hasn't played before.

On the other hand he is the fastest guy on the field. We call him "White Lightning."

As this video attests, speed won out over experience. Watch as Aaron scores the first goal of the season for his team in two kicks!

Leslie and the young ones had a great day trip to the town park today.

The kids helped mom show off the swingset addition to the grandparents. Thanks, guys! You know how to make it look fun.

Speaking of fun, Shannon and Aaron had a great time at their day camp at the Hands-on-House this year. They spent time clowning around...

...and making rain sticks.
