Christopher was helping Daddy with a bathroom home repair project.  Doug said, "First, we have to get the caulk gun so we can shoot the caulk."  Christopher asked, "Are we going to kill it?"

There was a cute park in Ocean City, NJ.

Still more Ocean City Pics

More pics at Ocean City.

This is now our 200th Blog Post. So, you win a free toaster for viewing it. (Not really.)

Here is more Ocean City stuff.

Well, we just got back from Ocean City. What a blast!

OK, we got back a week and a half ago, but the film took forever to get back from Wal-Mart. So... without any further delay, I give you beach shots.

We had a great vacation at Ocean City, NJ with the Schans. Here is a little video of the 4 oldest doing bumper cars.

Chris show us how to jump in with style.

Better look where you are going!

We had an eventful weekend at the Grachur club. Both Chris and Shannon jumped off the diving board for the first time. Chris started this summer afraid to get his head underwater and unwilling to be in the water without direct contact with an adult. Now, he swims around independently with his life vest and jumps off everything he can.

We just got back from the Grachur Club in Maryland (pictures and video coming) and Doug was giving orders like a drill sergeant about the bedtime routine:

"You are to march up to your rooms, rid yourself of your clothes, and report to the bathroom immediately. Now I expect some cheers of compliance."

After a short silence, we heard all kinds of weird sounds coming from the back of the van.  From Aaron, "Boo!  Boo!  Boo!"  From Shannon, "Yech!  Yucky!"

Never having heard the term "compliance" before, they thought we meant "cheers of complaints."  At least they were compliant about their complaints...:)

Shannon had a difficult morning.  In the afternoon, after swimming, she came up to me and said, "Mommy...I take back everything I said before that wasn't good."

That sure takes care of it, doesn't it?

Mommy and Daddy did the old face puppet thing for the kids today. (It was 4th of July and raining. We were fully enjoying our uselessness.)

So, of course, the kids asked if they could do it.

Help us. Would any of these make a good Christmas picture?

Gotta fuel the body on a trip like this.

Petting dolphins - way cool.

No kids, but this shot of Shamu just rocks.

Speaking of rocks, Chris just eats them for lunch. He can climb anything.
